1.4.1 - 2026-09-13
What’s new since 1.4.0 - the home dashboard has been rebuilt around what’s coming up and what’s waiting for you. Pasted caption text now keeps its paragraphs all the way to the platform, and the character counter counts the caption that actually gets sent.
Improvements
Section titled “Improvements”- A rebuilt home dashboard. HIVE Pulse now has four panels instead of six: the Risk & Reputation strip, the Pulse Timeline, the Social Media Beehive and the HIVE Assistant. The External Buzz and Internal Signals cards are gone, as they only led to areas already in the top navigation. See HIVE Pulse.
- The Pulse Timeline covers your next seven days. It used to list today only, newest first. It now brings your social posts, internal announcements and events, and external calendar events into one schedule, earliest first and grouped by day, and opens at what’s next. See Pulse Timeline.
- The Social Media Beehive totals what’s waiting. Comments awaiting reply, new mentions and, where direct messages are on, conversations awaiting reply each get one row with a total and a count per platform, instead of a sentence per platform, and each opens the Unified Inbox filtered to match. See Social Media Beehive.
- The Risk & Reputation strip states your alerts in words. The number of high-priority alerts is spelled out instead of shown as a small badge, and the button names the screen it opens. The figure now comes from a cache and can be a few minutes behind. See Where to find it.
- Analytics date range and export sit together at the end of the tab row, and work as before. See Choosing a date range.
- Matching colours for post and event statuses. Scheduled and Published/Live used to appear in two nearly identical shades depending on whether they belonged to a post or an event. They now share one colour on the calendar, the status legend, the planner, your post list and the timeline. See Status legend.
- Planning and Analytics get the patterned background, so all five areas now have it, with a darker version on Analytics. The Planning header also matches the other sections. See Planning.
Bugfixes
Section titled “Bugfixes”- A risk check that failed looked the same as having no alerts. The strip now says when it couldn’t load your alerts, so a broken check can’t pass for good news. Because of the cache, that message can stay for a few minutes after the problem clears. See Where to find it.
- Text pasted into a caption kept its original formatting and lost its paragraphs when published, so a pasted post could go out as a single block. Pasted text now lands as plain text and keeps its paragraphs all the way to the platform. Hashtags copied from LinkedIn also lose the hidden label LinkedIn puts in front of them, though only when LinkedIn is in English. See Pasting text in.
- The caption character counter counted the wrong thing. It could turn red on a caption within the limit, stay black on one the platform then rejected, and disagree with Edit Scheduled Post. It now counts exactly the text HIVE sends. See Caption and AI help.
- Post previews didn’t always show the caption as it would be published. Ampersands and words in angle brackets could display wrongly. Every preview now shows the text that gets sent, so Bold and Italic from the caption toolbar no longer appear there, as that styling never reached the platforms. See Tracking your posts.
- Changing a calendar event left the Pulse Timeline and some event lists out of date until you reloaded the page. They now update straight away. See Events.
