1.4.0 - 2026-08-19
What’s new since 1.3.0 - the Unified Inbox gains a third feed for private messages, and Facebook’s reach and engagement join the rest of your Analytics. LinkedIn figures refresh on a steadier schedule, and choosing a password now has requirements you can see being met as you type.
New features
Section titled “New features”- Direct messages from Facebook and Instagram in the Unified Inbox. Private messages sent to your Facebook Page or Instagram account now arrive in HIVE as a third feed beside Comments and Mentions, with anything the person attached. You can reply with text for 24 hours after the person last wrote, and record an opt-out, which can’t be undone, when someone asks you to stop. Attachments can be received but not sent, and on Facebook the sender usually shows as Facebook User. See Direct Messages.
Improvements
Section titled “Improvements”- Password requirements, checked as you type. A new HIVE password needs at least 12 characters with upper and lower case letters, a number and a symbol, and can’t contain your name, your email address or the word “HIVE”. A checklist ticks off each rule as you type, and passwords you already have keep working. See What your password needs.
- Facebook reach and engagement in Analytics. Facebook is now counted in Total Reach, Engagement Rate and the Engagement & Reach chart, its Social Channel Performance tile shows reach, and a newly connected Page brings its follower history into Audience Growth. A Page connected before this release shows no figures until it is reconnected. See Analytics.
- LinkedIn like and comment counts refresh on a daily budget. Each post’s figures refresh at most every 12 hours, and the refresh now keeps within LinkedIn’s daily allowance. Figures can be up to half a day old. See Tracking your posts.
- No failure email for a TikTok publish you stopped yourself. Cancelling a publish, or disconnecting the account it was going to, no longer sends the same email as a genuine failure. See Email notifications.
- Long quotes no longer stretch risk alerts. The source text on an alert is capped at two lines, with the rest on hover, on Active Alerts, the Watchlist and Risk & Reputation History. On a touch screen there is no hover, so only the two lines show. See The monitoring screen.
Bugfixes
Section titled “Bugfixes”- LinkedIn figures could stop updating for the rest of the day. A post LinkedIn would never return figures for was retried on every page load, which could use up the day’s allowance for every other post. A failing post is no longer retried endlessly. See Tracking your posts.
- A LinkedIn post’s figures could freeze because of another workspace. Where two workspaces manage the same LinkedIn page, a post found deleted in one stopped refreshing everywhere, permanently. Each workspace is now handled separately, and a post already frozen this way stays frozen until support clears it on request. See Tracking your posts.
- The reason under a failed TikTok post was shown as TikTok’s raw code. It now reads as a plain sentence, and appears under any failure HIVE recognises. See Tracking your posts.
- The Mentions only filter in Risk & Reputation History returned the wrong alerts. It filtered on severity rather than on where an alert came from. It now shows what its name says, and is renamed Watchlist only to match the column it filters. See The monitoring screen.
