1.2.0 - 2026-08-09

What’s new since 1.1.0 - Success Measures turn a brief’s goals into numbers HIVE keeps up to date, TikTok joins the platforms you can connect, HIVE imports the posts you published outside it so your planner shows everything that went out, and LinkedIn gains PDF document posts.

  • Success Measures - put a measurable target on a strategic brief or an objective, and HIVE keeps the number up to date for you. Measure Reach, Engagement, Follower Growth, Posts Published, or Linked Activity from your connected channels, or track a figure of your own by hand. Each measure shows where you are against your target, says plainly when it can’t give you a number rather than reporting a zero, and finalises once its period ends. A new Measures tab in Analytics gathers all of them in one place, and both surfaces export to CSV and PDF. See Success Measures.
  • TikTok is now available to connect. Publish videos, see how your account is performing alongside your other platforms, and have your existing public videos brought in automatically. See Connect TikTok.
  • Imported posts - the posts you publish straight on a platform, outside HIVE, now appear in HIVE beside the ones you published through it, with their media, their own stats, and a link back to the original. It needs no setting: once an account is connected, HIVE keeps it up to date. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok; YouTube isn’t available. See Imported posts.
  • Document posts on LinkedIn - add a PDF to a LinkedIn post and it publishes as the swipeable deck LinkedIn shows in the feed, rather than a file to download. One PDF per post, a title of your own above it, up to 100 MB. See Document posts.
  • Instagram audience demographics now also show your reached audience - the people your posts reached, by age and gender and by top countries - for the last 7 or 30 days, alongside the existing lifetime view of your followers. See Analytics.
  • A post and its conversation in one view. Opening a published post now shows it beside its comments, with the threads still awaiting a reply counted at the top, and you can answer a thread without leaving the post. From the inbox, selecting a comment opens the post it was left on. See Unified inbox.
  • A link back to the platform on every published post - in the post’s preview and on the latest-posts rows on the External home. Where a link genuinely isn’t available yet, HIVE now explains why instead of showing nothing: a TikTok video waiting on TikTok’s processing reads Link pending, and one still sitting in your TikTok inbox says so. See Tracking your posts.
  • History on connect - connect Instagram or LinkedIn and your Audience Growth chart arrives already filled with real follower history instead of starting flat. HIVE fills up to a year, or as much as the platform makes available: about a year for LinkedIn, and 30 days for Instagram. Instagram’s reach and engagement charts fill with daily history too. See Analytics.
  • TikTok analytics now refresh every hour, the same as your other platforms, instead of once a day. See Connect TikTok.
  • You can see history arriving. After connecting an account, its card on Connect Platforms says whether HIVE is still collecting the channel’s history, and names anything that didn’t come through along with why. Analytics carries a matching line while it’s in progress, so a figure that can still move isn’t mistaken for a settled one. See Watching history arrive.
  • Duplicate a strategic brief into the next quarter - the content, the KPI targets and the objective link are carried over, set to the next free quarter, so a new cycle starts from the last one rather than from nothing. See Strategic briefs.
  • Emoji now render correctly across HIVE. Some emoji previously appeared as empty boxes on devices or browsers without a matching emoji font; HIVE now supplies a colour-emoji fallback so they display everywhere.
  • Days with no data were drawn as zero on the Engagement & Reach chart, and exported as 0. A day HIVE has nothing for now reads as missing rather than as a real zero, in the chart and in the CSV and PDF alike.
  • Filtering the trend charts to one channel could leave the all-channel figures on screen under that channel’s title.
  • The Audience Growth chart’s dates didn’t line up with the Engagement & Reach chart above it, so the two couldn’t be read against each other.
  • Instagram comments on your own posts could also appear under Mentions. Mentions now covers only what someone tags you in on their own content.
  • Opening a deleted post lost its conversation. The comments stay readable.
  • A published TikTok video could carry a link that didn’t work - HIVE assembled the address itself instead of using TikTok’s. It now uses the link TikTok issues, and says so when TikTok hasn’t issued one yet.
