1.3.0 - 2026-08-16

What’s new since 1.2.0 - TikTok is no longer video-only, a scheduled YouTube video can be stopped without being thrown away, and a risk alert now shows the words behind it. You can also choose which emails HIVE sends you and what Risk & Reputation searches the news for.

  • Choose which emails HIVE sends you. A new Notifications tab in Settings lets each person turn eight kinds of email on and off, from failed posts and disconnected accounts to card updates and, for admins, team changes. Everything starts switched on. See Email notifications.
  • Cancel schedule for scheduled YouTube posts. Stop a scheduled video going public without deleting it: it stays on YouTube as a private video. Until now the only option was to delete it. HIVE can’t set a new publish time afterwards. See Cancelling a scheduled YouTube post.
  • Photo posts on TikTok. Publish up to 10 images as a TikTok photo post instead of a video, with an optional title and a longer caption. It works with the TikTok accounts you’ve already connected. See Photo posts.
  • Choose what Risk & Reputation searches the news for. Until now HIVE searched the news for your company name and nothing else. An admin can now add keywords and phrases in English and Swedish, build an Ignore list, and switch off the company name if it’s a common word. If you already had the add-on, nothing changed until you chose to add to it. See Choosing what we watch for.
  • Newsletter branding is remembered for your whole company. The header and footer name, tagline and colours, and the text colours you set, are saved for the company, so the next newsletter starts from them, whoever writes it, instead of from HIVE’s defaults. Newsletters already sent keep the look they went out with. See Your branding is remembered.
  • A risk alert shows what was actually said. Every alert now quotes the opening of the source’s own words beneath HIVE’s summary, with the author and date where HIVE has them, so you can tell whether the summary is right. See The monitoring screen.
  • Tidier alert columns on the monitoring screen. Active Alerts and Watchlist scroll in panels of their own instead of stretching the page, and each heading shows how many alerts it holds. See The monitoring screen.
  • The newsletter preview matches the email your team receives. Heading colours, centred and right-aligned text, and the smallest heading size now look the same in the preview as in the inbox. See Newsletters.
  • Deleting a post says what will happen on each platform, including whether the post is removed from the platform or only from HIVE. See Deleting a post.
  • Post link labels no longer assume a video, now that a TikTok post can be a set of photos. See Tracking your posts.
  • Your own comments could be flagged as risks. A comment posted from your own YouTube, Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn account could become an alert about your own post. HIVE now recognises your accounts. See What HIVE watches.
  • Only the first flagged comment on a post became an alert. Other comments on the same post that deserved your attention were never raised. Every comment is now judged on its own. See What reaches you as an alert.
  • Alerts were raised when nothing had been said about you, such as an article naming your company in passing in a list. An alert now needs something actually said about your company. See What reaches you as an alert.
  • An alert’s impact could read Positive when its tone was neutral. It now shows the right tone, or only the level when the tone isn’t known. See The monitoring screen.
  • The Sources count on the monitoring screen left out LinkedIn alerts, so the social figure read too low. See The monitoring screen.
  • A scheduled YouTube post looked as if it had already been published, with the wrong date, a Published badge and a link to a video that wasn’t available yet. It now shows as Scheduled at the time you chose, and the link and stats appear once the video is public. See Tracking your posts.
  • Deleting a scheduled YouTube post destroyed the uploaded video without warning. HIVE now says so before and after you confirm. See Deleting a post.
  • TikTok posts without a link were all reported as rejected, even when TikTok had accepted them and they might be live. HIVE now shows what is known about each one, and Rejected by TikTok now only means the post failed TikTok’s own review. See Tracking your posts.
